Project New Hope's Lunch Program

Project New Hope is a program of the diocese that offers a variety of services to HIV+ adults and children. St. Mark's participates in its lunch program, which serves lunch daily at the Rand Schrader Clinic at County USC serving outpatient HIV+ adults and children, many of whom are homeless. St. Mark's prepares and serves lunch on the 4th Wednesday of each month. For more information about Project New Hope or to volunteer to help prepare the meal, please contact Elise Copley.

Ascencia Guest Chef Program to the Hungry

Ascencia is a full service shelter here in Glendale specializing in helping homeless families get back on their feet and into jobs and permanent housing. St. Mark's participates in Ascenia's Guest Chef program, where volunteers throughout Glendale, and in particular those from various faith communities, prepare and serve a hot meal for the shelter residents. We are guest chefs on the 3rd Saturday and 4th Monday of each month. For more information about Ascencia's Guest Chef program or to become a volunteer, please contact Elise Copley.
