St. Mark’s offers the Recovery Mass as a communal way to engage with the eleventh step of 12-Step recovery programs – “Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out” – and as a grateful celebration of healing and recovery for everyone. Including music, scripture, a shared reflection and a celebration of the Eucharist where everyone is welcome to partake of the sacrament, it is a liturgy for all those who want to celebrate their recovery or the recovery of others.
The Recovery Mass is celebrated on the third Sunday of the Month.
